Review:
I have mixed feelings about this book, but I think it's because it's so different. There are very dark undertones to it that aren't going to give you that happy go lucky feeling like the happily ever afters do. No,this is something entirely different. It's the end of the world. And unfortunately there will be very few survivors. The dragons are the harbinger of death and will destroy everything on the planet. This is a scenario Aelana has been through several times and it never gets easier. This time though she meets her old love reincarnated once again and they still have that deep connection. Several times I had to ask myself if she wouldn't try to stop so many innocent deaths. But this is one of those books where things are the way they are and it's just the will of the universe. However, as bleak as it sounds, the book offers a unique turn on the apocalypse and a very interesting read involving dragons.
