★✩★ Now Available ★✩★

Blurb:
Like the ocean, life is a beautiful force. One that can tear you limb from limb or lavish you in perfect moments.

Michelle Hathaway has it all: a view of the Eiffel Tower from her loft in Paris, a successful career as a fashion photographer, ownership in an up-and-coming art gallery, and jet-setting days filled with excitement. But, even with all that luxury, her life feels aimless.

Over the years, Michelle drifted on the tide of a long distance, on-again off-again relationship with Micah Roberts, a hot bass player in a popular rock band. When he finally asks her to move to Los Angeles to be with him, she risks everything, taking the leap into a new life.

Drowning in the wake of her decisions, she struggles just to breathe as destiny threatens to take everything. As unexpected events devastate her, will Michelle surface from the depths of despair?

From Bestselling Author of The Falling Series, Marisa Oldham, comes an emotionally heart stopping novel about love, heartache, and learning to breathe when it feels as though the air is kicked from you.

Author: RS McCoy
A Beauty and the Beast Retelling
Release Date: May 31, 2016

Blurb:

*A Paranormal Romance retelling of Beauty and the Beast*

Blossom Frane is only weeks away from her transformation. On her eighteenth birthday, she’ll find out her future branch of society and her totem, the animal form she’ll be able to take at will for the rest of her life. Like her brothers, she’s expected to be a brown bear of the religious branch known as Terra.

In the Alderwood forests, Blossom’s bear blood is a valuable asset. Any day now, a rival clan leader will step forward and offer her father a hefty bounty in exchange for her hand in marriage. Blossom can do nothing more than sit back and wait to be traded to the highest bidder.

Determined to spend her last weeks exploring the Alderwood, Blossom sneaks away and manages to find Kaide Landel, a rising political star of the Pyro branch. Known for his violence and disregard for the religious teachings of the Terra branch, he’s all wrong for the bear clan’s prized daughter. But when the politician uses his wealth and influence to secure her hand, Blossom has no choice but to leave her family and marry him—if she lives that long.

My Review:
I loved this book! Beauty and the Beast has long been my favorite old school Disney movie and this book has some serious undertones with Beauty and the Beast references. Sometimes this doesn't work so well, but here the references are perfectly placed and pulled at my heart strings. Especially the end scene with Kaide. I won't pretend I wasn't frustrated with Blossom for a while because of her attitude. At the same time, there were so many factors playing into it that I could understand why the attitude from her and the way he is. Kaide is way out of his element when it comes to the beautiful woman he bartered for as his future wife. She is wild and untameable; a trait he admires in her because he recognizes a kindred spirit. The ending was just emotionally wracking. Like stitches being torn out of a raw wound. It is a serious cliffhanger. But I cannot wait to see more from this series!!
5 out of 5 stars!

I adored the characters (especially Kaide but also Blossom -- she's such a strong-willed character!) the story, and McCoy's wonderful and gripping writing style. BooksEnchanted

The story is fast paced and apart from Blossom and Kaide's romance, there is plenty of suspense, political manipulation and intrigue in Kaide's career as a politician that will affect and change his and Blossom's lives forever! All this and more is handled with ease by RS McCoy and I loved her writing style and know that I will be checking out her other books too while I wait for the next book in this series. Review for Nights in the Fast Lane: A Contemporary Romantic Comedy by Grace Risata

Blurb:

Dane and Izzy.

Complete opposites.

As the New Year begins, they find themselves facing very different circumstances.
Dane is a street racer stuck with a blown engine, no money, and no options after he gets fired for saving a damsel in distress.
Izzy can’t believe she was just rescued by the same handsome stranger she walks past, and lusts after, on a daily basis. With a massive blizzard about to bury the town, she ends up taking him in for the night.
Sparks fly when she brings out his playful side, and he shows her a passion she’s never known before.
As they slowly begin to trust each other, walls come down and tragic pasts emerge. Dane is haunted by the family he never had, while Izzy will stop at nothing to deny her birthright.
When Dane receives an offer he can’t refuse, will one bad decision cost him everything? Or will fate intervene and send these two down the path they were destined for?

This is a full length, stand-alone novel with no cliffhangers. Please be advised that you will find strong language, attractive men with tattoos, a dog with a cat name, steamy bedroom scenes including one involving Doritos, plenty of character backstory, and a very healthy dose of humor.

Review:
Just finished this book and I found it entertaining and I don't usually read books with street racing involved. The tension between Izzy and Dane really keep you on your toes while reading this one. For the first part of the book the two of them are dancing around their lust for each other and whether to act on it or not. Well, let me correct that statement. Izzy is all about it but Dane has reservations and they are good reasons, not for his lack of want to. They both have a lot of issues from their pasts, but find out the two of them really aren't so different after all. It was funny, kind of intense, frustrating, and more. An all around good read!
4 out of 5 stars!

Excerpt

“You two will certainly star the next time I flick the bean. You are both drop dead gorgeous,” she admits while she’s still under the influence of Lawrence’s brainwashing.

“If only you knew the half of it,” Lawrence flirts. I punch Lawrence in the arm faster than Nora can register. “I think Raphael here would love to hear anything else you may have to say,” he says and sidesteps away from me.

“I hate you,” I whisper to him as Nora starts talking, until she is cut off by Lawrence’s reply.

“Such anger Raphael. I think you have a problem.”

“Yes, it’s called Lawrence,” I say through gritted teeth.

Carter
She was the one for me.
The one that I knew would be mine forever until I made the biggest mistake. I pushed her away and I’ve regretted that decision ever since. I’ve tried to move on, tried to put the memory of her behind me, but she’s always consuming my thoughts. Now, she’s back in our hometown, trying to rebuild a new life. I know she’s keeping secrets. She tries to hide them from me, and I will do whatever it takes to prove that I’m the one she needs. Because Shelby Ross is the other part of me that I can’t live without and I refuse to let her go again.

Shelby
He broke my heart.
I never thought I would be able to pick of the pieces he left behind. When he let me go, I ran away from it all, thinking it was the easiest thing to do. But, running has a price and I’ve paid it in full for years. Now, I’m back where it all began, back to putting my life together and starting over. It should’ve been easy, but Carter Harlow is reawakening long buried emotions that I thought were gone. He wants to make me his again. I can’t let that happen. He ruined me, broke me, and I’m afraid I’ll never survive it a second time around.
